21 Week Dr. Visit

I went to the doctor this morning for my 21 week check-up. My blood pressure was back to normal, which I was very pleased with. I have gained 5 more pounds--of this I am not too happy about. This raises the total to 11.5 pounds. I heard the baby's heartbeat, but I forgot to ask how fast it was, but it wasn't near as fast as last time. Dr. says everything looks good and healthy. The baby's measurement was actually 2.5 weeks more than what it should be. He measured 24 cm. I read that the baby should measure whatever week you're on. So, he is about 2.5 cms above normal. Do you think this means he could make an early arrival?

PS If you're keeping track, I go back to the doctor on March 2 for my gestational diabetes screening (prayers please), and then 2 or 3 weeks later for my last ultrasound.
